What Is Text RPG?

An RPG is short for "Role-playing game". RPGs enable you to control a character within a game. You are not the character, but you do in most cases decide the actions of the character? See our: In Depth Explanation

Is Text RPGing Free?

Its all FREE and there is NOTHING to install or download since all play takes place within our Community!

Do you have anything that I can start right away?

There are RPGs for those who do not actually want to 'write' anything, we refer to those as 'Start Now' RPGs such as: Ruler of Kings. You can also start right away in the Member Wars Board where the Members run their own Text RPGs.

FAQ About Text Gaming

Text RPGs are text and browser based and not part of a graphical interface like Diablo, therefore you do not need to have anything but an internet connection and a browser.

What makes Text better than Graphic 3D RPGs?

Text RPGs gives you more control because you decide the outcome of everything where as in a 3D environment you can only do what the game limits you to do.

What if I cannot write very well?

You do not have to be perfect just understandable. You can use the spell checker and take your time, no one is rushing you.

Who is the Game Master?

There are many Game Masters. The in-house Text RPGs are managed by an experienced GM (Game Master) that made hundreds of scenarios for Community players. Some Members of the Community also create their own based on Pathfinder, D&D, and others.

Can I start my own Text RPGs?

Yes! The first thing you will need to do is find out how many people are interested in participating. See more here: How To Be A GM

As the group continues past the trolls, Poljen keeps an eye on them. If they decide to disobey their mistress, he will gladly engage with them while the others fall back. But assuming they don't attack, and merely begin following them he thinks to the others, {Velon, if she is a typical dragon, she will want to blather on and demand the mask and threaten us and the hostages and so on. I say before she gets words out of her mouth we should simply attack right away. Oh, and Lawrance, your cloak should let us know if she is really where she appears to be, eh?}.
