What is a TEXT RPG?

An RPG is short for "Role-playing game". RPGs enable you to control a character within a game. You are not the character, but you do in most cases decide the actions of the character.

Text RPGs are text and browser based and not part of a graphical interface like Diablo, therefore you do not need to have anything but an internet connection and a browser.

What makes Text better than Graphic 3D RPGs?

Text RPGs gives you more control because you decide the outcome of everything where as in a 3D environment you can only do what the game limits you to do.

Who is the Game Master?

Welcome to our International FREE TEXT BASED RPG (Role-Playing Game) created by an experienced GM (Game master) that made hundreds of scenarios for community players of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons or AD&D.

The RPGs here are all custom built, down to even the graphics (95%) and rules. Most is writen in a language called, 'PHP. Some of flash, but most of them simply rely on your browser to view.

There is NOTHING to install or download since all play takes place within our Community! The storyline and plots are very detailed and is based on brains and wit more than just hack and kill, therefore a more mature and experienced player will better survive.

Do you have anything that I can start right away?

RPG Reviews News: Oliron's PBP AD&D Dark Calling Support & Questions
It would be nice but I do think it's probably a bit much to start off. That's the problem with D&D for forums, there is a LOT of crud to keep track of per character, and there's no good way to do it, really, especially for more than one game you're in. I don't know how people do it; which is why I stay with the looser, lighter rules systems, that require less microscopic yet expansive tracking - I counted the number of blanks on just the FRONT side of a D&D 3.5 sheet once, and it had 121. That is a LOT of blanks to fill in.

The games I tend to run have a much smaller, more stable block of useful info, and the equipment and other details (magic etc) are basically honor system, as money and gear isn't really focused on, as it isn't the point - no exhausting item list and such - in a way I like it, in a way it's a little lackluster. But that's what I was thinking with Pundit's question, was, do I really WANT, even if it was available, to fill out another complete character sheet for a different game of the same system? But that's maybe my own aversion to D20/D&D coming out there.

So what IS the situation - how many players do you have for sure, and how many are possible or deciding, and how many do you want to start, and such?
