Open Question: Should I be a sorcerer or a wizard (nerd question)?



   lol so yeah in dungeons in dragons online (ddo) I am in a bit of a pickle. I can't choose between a wizard and a sorcerer.

Elf Wizard pros:
1 - you can use a sword
2 - you get more spells
3 - you get an extra class feat

Human sorcerer pros and cons:
1 - You can cast more often and much faster
2 - you get an extra species feat
3 - you get more spell points

so basically I'm choosing between raw blasting power and some blasting power with some up-close combat ability incase I run out of spellpoints. What should I choose? (please no 'do what you want' answers. I just want suggestions)

I think if I was you I would choose a wizard, its my personal choice because I like the idea of having more spells. I don't know it is more fun.
