Open Question: Fans of Nancy Drew PC games...?



   At 28, I'm probably a little too old to enjoy Nancy Drew PC games, but I do ... I love 'em!  When the kids go to bed or wind down for the night, it's so nice to just "zone out" and/or use my brain on a deeper level than that of Sesame Street or Barney & Friends.  

I'm not sure what type of games they are (mystery? strategy? role-playing?) -- but now that I've played almost all editions of it, I'm wondering if anyone out there has some suggestions within that same kinda type (figuring puzzles out, putting clues together, solving a crime or situation, etc.) I've also tried the two James Patterson's Women's Club PC games that are out (based on the novels) & enjoyed them a lot - even though there was a hidden-object element to them in addition to figuring out the "cases" presented.

And just for the record - I like hidden object games & they've become very popular recently ... but that's not really what I'm looking for. I'm more about indulging my inner-detective or super-sleuth (ha ha).
