I have played RPGs for many years, mostly books and table top wargames.
I have played some online, but I have struggled as other members of the game can have more time to play than me.   Also they seem to have more money to spend on extra credit such as gold and levels.   I have found myself to be at a great disadvantage.   That's why I think on-line chess is much more of a level playing field.   If any one can suggest a game that is fair in terms of time and cash I shall be very greatful.

It is down in the play by text RPG.  Just jump in to the discussion and I will get you involved.  Right now we have a dwarf, a half elf and a elf.  I accept most races and character classes.  Just let me know what you want to play.
