RPGHQ Web Profiler

Hi, I was using this site before it was all revamped and am wondering what happened to the Web Profiler.   I was storing a few characters on it and am hoping I'll be able to get them back!
I was aware that the site was being taken over, but not that it would be completely made over!  It would have been nice to have been warned and given the chance to save anything we wanted to keep.    >:(

Well that was the agreed plan. The fault of that was the last Administrator of rpghq.org (Talon). First he agreed to give us the site and move it in early March 2009. We bought the domain and then waited and waited. Now it was coming to the end of March and then he claimed to want to give us the site but then at the last minute said that some other guy (that he never mentioned) wanted to keep it all archived. It was really strange. So this is not a revamped site, this in fact is a new existing site that we pointed the domain to. Feel free to make use of anything relevant here to continue your RPGs / PBPs.

For those Emailing me constantly about your past characters and files - I do not have them. As I said above and according to Talon he said that someone else wanted it all archived. Talon is a member of this site by the way, if you want to take up something with him you can join the site and reply / message him, but other than that I cannot help you.

The rpghq site is back up temporarily (until April 15).  Unfortunately, this forum doesn't automatically create links for outside urls, it's html doesn't work, and it mangles the url text to boot.   Maybe the forum owner will be kind enough to fix it?

Players have until April 15 to download their character sheets, post archives, and anything else they have stored there.

Nothing is messed up with the formatting of this Forum. The reason it does that is to prevent spammers from joining and then posting links to other sites (as per your example) for pyramids and scams. When you post count reaches 10 you can then post a link and it will be formatted in the correct fashion.

I am glad that the profile were not lost and Ihope every one gets the message.   That is why I store mine in a ubs stick.
