Quote

1. You only get notifications by Email / PM if you have your settings in your profile set to do that.

2. Even if you are set to receive notifications you will not get any if you are online and currently playing Chess.

3. Do note that anytime it is your turn in a match the top menu Chess link appears with a "[!]"
